What in the World is a Virtual Race?
I had never heard of a virtual race until I googled 5K races and all of these great virtual racing sites came up. A virtual race is a race that you run, walk, skip, swim, crawl. whatever mode you wish to complete your race. You can complete your time all at once, or you can span it out over the course of the race. If you dont do the race the only one you are cheating is yourself. I would love to see pictures of you with your Bibs! =)
Why Should I do a Virtual Race instead of an "actual" race
Do not let anyone tell you a Virtual Race is NOT an actual race. Sure you don't have to fight parking, masses of people or unfamiliar territory. BUT you get to do it on your terms, in the comfort of your home or your favorite running trail via treadmill, stationary bike, elliptical whatever. You do miss the excitement of having crowds cheer you on, and getting your finisher medal by volunteers, but it is a great training tool.
What's in it for me?
Besides the fact you will get some awesome blingage . You are doing it for a great cause! You can do it directly through us. It's a win win situation!
Sweet! Sounds Like Fun How Do I sign up?
You can click on your Race Sign Up tab where you will be redirected to my checkout page! you can also email or facebook us on my group or fan page!
How Much will this cost ?
If you click on our Race Signup page prices are listed there as well. Races with Medal(s) are 25-35.00 per race. Once we have a series Race ( 2 medals-4 medals& then 1 completer) price will be around 75-100.00 for a series ( these medals have glitter, are big and are amazing!)
That sounds expensive...where does all the money go?
Glad you asked! After the deductions of the race fees ( medal making, shipping and pay pal fees) the rest of the proceeds go to the charity we have decided to donate for that race! Our Goal is to reach 500 to 1,000 dollars for each race orgainization.
Are my race fees tax deductable?
No. We are not a Charity Organization, we are simply raising money to provide donations to GREAT societies and organizations! Stay tuned!
